概要
| 学修到達目標 | スピーキング･リスニング･ライティング･リーディングの4つのスキルアップを目指す。学生 はスピーチを書いたり、小テストがある。 There are several goals for our classes: 1) to be able to use English to complete communication tasks; 2) to develop presentation and public speaking strategies; and, 3) to gain confidence communicating in English. |

| 授業形態及び 授業方法 |
During class, you will work with a partner or in groups. This will give you many chances to speak English, practice presentation skills, and make classes more fun and interesting. You will also give speeches to small groups of students. Please bring your textbook and my handouts to every class. |
| 履修条件 | 1. English Communication Iは社会コミュニケーションサブメジャーコースの指定設置科目で、このサブメジャーを取る学生はEnglish Communication IIと共に履修しなければならない。2. 教職免許を取る学生はEnglish Communication IIと共に履修しなければならない。 3. その他の学生は、English Communication IとEnglish Communication IIの両方をI・IIの順で履修することが望ましい。前期のみまたは後期のみ履修することは可能ですが、特にEnglish Communication IIのみ履修する場合、担当教員と相談して下さい。 |

Scoring: 30% classwork and participation, 15% final speech 授業での参加; 35% homework 課題の提出; 20% short quizzes 小テスト他. If you’re sick, email me and bring a note from kyomuka. Your speeches are to be written at home, so completing your homework is very important. |
