概要
| 学修到達目標 | Our goal in this course is to assist students in acquiring the necessary skills for taking academic classes in English while studying abroad, including listening to lectures, taking notes, expressing opinions in group discussions, summarizing, and giving presentations. |

| 授業形態及び 授業方法 |
Although our primary focus in this course will be to help students learn & practice proven strategies for the various stages of academic study, depending on student needs, this course will also include sessions on how to best write emails, prepare for the TOEFL, and enhance skills for study abroad interviews. |
| 履修条件 | 1. English Communication IIは社会コミュニケーションサブメジャーコースの指定設置科目で、このサブメジャーを取る学生はEnglish Communication Iと共に履修しなければならない。2. 教職免許を取る学生はEnglish Communication Iと共に履修しなければならない。 3. その他の学生は、English Communication IとEnglish Communication IIの両方をI・IIの順で履修することが望ましい。前期のみまたは後期のみ履修することは可能ですが、特にEnglish Communication IIのみ履修する場合、担当教員と相談して下さい。 |

This class will be highly interactive, requiring students to engage in pair work and group discussions almost every week. If you’re the kind of student who likes to sit by yourself in the back of the room, I’m afraid this course is not for you. Please bring your positive attitude and be prepared to be an active participant in a very fun learning environment. |
