概要
| 学修到達目標 | A) Students will learn skills needed to communicate in different situations abroad. B) Students will learn how to use cultural knowledge to communicate better with foreigners. C) Students will develop their vocabulary and their ability to use the vocabulary. |

| 授業形態及び 授業方法 |
We will do listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities in small groups and pairs. Students will look at common situations when travelling abroad。Students will hear a nd present on their own culture and foreign cultures in small groups. |
| 履修条件 | I. For EC I: 1. English Communication Iは社会コミュニケーションサブメジャーコースの指定設置科目で、このサブメジャーを取る学生はEnglish Communication IIと共に履修しなければならない。2. 教職免許を取る学生はEnglish Communication IIと共に履修しなければならない。 3. その他の学生は、English Communication IとEnglish Communication IIの両方をI・IIの順で履修することが望ましい。前期のみまたは後期のみ履修することは可能ですが、特にEnglish Communication IIのみ履修する場合、担当教員と相談して下さい。 |

| 第3回 | Airports: airport vocabulary, checking in for flights and asking for help. Researching airport information. |
| 第4回 | Transportation: Speed, cost and comfort. Taxis, trains, and buses. |
| 第5回 | Cultural Views of Japan, the UK and other countries. Sharing cultural information. |
| 第6回 | Asking for Information about tourist activities. Booking Tours. |
| 第7回 | Hotels: Checking in, asking about services, accommodation. |
| 第8回 | Dining out. |
| 第9回 | Going Out: Making friends and making conversations. |
| 第10回 | Introducing yourself, your family, hometown and your country. |
| 第11回 | Student Presentations: Introducing Yourself. |

| 第13回 | Talking about your country: culture, places of interest. |
