概要

学修到達目標	英語のライティングとリスニングの強化を目指すクラスです。ライティングについては、英語で日常生活の説明ができ、簡単な議論ができ、まとまった長さの文章が書けるように訓練していきます。
授業形態及び授業方法	出欠確認、宿題チェック、小テスト、教科書の勉強という流れが基本です。ライティングに関しては、教科書の勉強に加えて定期的に作文を提出してもらいます。リスニングはまずオンライン学習（毎時間、イヤホンかヘッドフォンを持参して下さい）からスタートして、海外ニュースの書き取りをおこないます。
履修条件	７月11日に実施予定の TOEIC L&R IP テストを受験することが義務です。

授業計画

第1回	授業の進め方、出欠に関するルールの確認、単語テストの話、パソコンに関する注意、成績評価の基準などについて説明します。
第2回	Introduction: Process Writing――Understanding process writing 教室での答え合わせの前に、指定された箇所の英作文を書いてきてください。
第3回	Pre-Writing: Getting Ready to Write――Choosing and narrowing a topic 教室での答え合わせの前に、指定された箇所の英作文を書いてきてください。
第4回	Pre-Writing: Getting Ready to Write――Gathering ideas, Editing ideas 教室での答え合わせの前に、指定された箇所の英作文を書いてきてください。
第5回	The Structure of a Paragraph――The definition of a paragraph 教室での答え合わせの前に、指定された箇所の英作文を書いてきてください。

教科書	Doroth E. Zemach他　『Writing Essays From Paragraph to Essay』マクミラン　2011年飯田康夫『英作文基本300選』駿台文庫 2015年教科書は必ず購入して下さい。
参考書
成績評価の方法及び基準	授業の普段点４０％、TOEIC L&R IP テストのスコア２０％、平常試験４０％で計算します。詳細については授業で解説します。出席重視。授業を１／３欠席した場合は単位が出ません。
