概要
| 学修到達目標 | English learners in this course will develop the following functional skills: 1. Describing past experiences and storytelling 2. Describing feeling, emotions, attitudes 3. Describing places 4. Talking about films and books 5. Expressing opinions 6. Expressing agreement/disagreement 7. Initiating and closing conversation 8. Checking understanding 9. Managing interactions (interrupting, changing topic, continuing) This course is designed for beginner and intermediate-level students (CEFR A1-B1). Higher proficiency students (CEFR B2-C2) will receive level-adjusted tasks if requested. |

| 授業形態及び 授業方法 |
This course is a face-to-face (対面授業) course. Various listening, speaking, reading, writing, and vocabulary building activities will be done. The course content may be adjusted to suit student interests and needs. Attendance & IC Card Reader Policy: Scan your ID for when you enter the room. If you forgot your ID, tell the teacher your name and ID number. If you have to leave for some reason (illness, interview, etc.), tell the teacher. 3. If your ID is scanned, but you are not in class, you will be penalized: 1st offense, -1%; 2nd offense, -10%, 3rd offense, -50%, course failure. If you are absent and there is a reason for your absence (hospital, funeral, interview, etc.), come to office hours to make up tasks within 2 weeks of the absence. |

Introduction to the course (syllabus explanation), greetings and introductions, small talk, the differences between TOEIC & CEFR, level self-assessment . | After class: Register for the course.
