学修到達目標 | Students will: Improve their speaking skills Improve their listening skills Build a more extensive working vocabulary covering several topics Learn natural expressions that are common in everyday English Gain confidence through multiple speaking tasks Become an engaged, active participant in the communication process. |

授業形態及び 授業方法 |
This course is conducted in English. This is a speaking and listening class. The focus will be engaging in active communication, using several topics as a class and in small groups. Each topic assigned will include preparing material to share in class and participating in small group conversations. Active speaking and listening are essential for this class. |
履修条件 | 1. English Communication Iは社会コミュニケーションサブメジャーコースの指定設置科目で、このサ ブメジャーを取る学生はEnglish Communication IIと共に履修しなければならない。 2. 教職免許を取る学生はEnglish Communication IIと共に履修しなければならない。 3. その他の学生は、English Communication IとEnglish Communication IIの両方をI・IIの順で履 修することが望ましい。前期のみまたは後期のみ履修することは可能ですが、特にEnglish Communication IIのみ履修する場合、担当教員と相談して下さい。 |

Consider some of the following: Tell us where you're from and where you're living now. Tell us something about your family—do you have brothers and sisters? Do you have any pets (if so, what kind/what is his/her name)?! Do you belong to any clubs or circles or plan to join one? What are some of your interests? Do you have any hobbies? | 1. |
